Utilities (Old)
Over the years I have created some nifty (to me, anyhow) geology-related utilities. May not work, as were written back in the 1997-1999 timeframe, and thus could contain quite horrid code.
- EQuake - Regurgitation of USGS recent worldwide earthquake activity into various formats.
- Geology Field Camp Purity Test - for fun, written while I should have been doing that big final report at field camp... (which might explain my current focus on computers :)
- Minq - Mineral name and formula quiz system. I wrote it because everyone else taking the Minerals course had written up a huge stack of note cards to study, and I wanted an easy dynamic method of learning the formulas.
- Slope - A Java applet aimed at demonstrating the slope failure equation. In crude line art, but a demonstration none the less.
