Waffles

This is a recipe that came with a waffle iron, except I always separate the eggs and fold the egg whites back into the batter as outlined below for better waffles.

  1. Mix following ingredients well in a bowl. (Can be premixed and stored for use in advance.)
     
  2. Separate the whites of three eggs and beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Place egg yolks in bowl with dry ingredients.
     
  3. Add the following to dry ingredients and yolks bowl and mix well.
     
  4. Fold egg whites into batter before cooking.
