Three Symphonies and Violin Concerto / Flute Concerto / Pilgrims, composed by Ned Rorem. Similar to work by Hovhaness. Excellent, and none too experimental like other modern classical composers.
Song to Fly and 23 Ji No Ongaku by Yoko Kanno. Good, though does not reach the heights of Macross Plus, Ghost in the Shell, and Cowboy BeBop.
