About this Site

The XML::ApplyXSLT module is used to render most of the pages on this site. The custom XML dialect (eolas) suits the documentation I write. A variety of custom Perl scripts help create the XML (such as generating shell code examples from pasted input, or creating image tags), though BBEdit handles most of the XML editing. Diagrams are created using OmniGraffle Pro.

The resemblence between sial (a geology term that is short and easy to type) and Salish is probably coincidental, despite my living in the Pacific Northwest.
